Shrimp Burgers

Packed with flavor, this is a go-to summer meal.

Directions:

To make the shrimp burgers add 3/4 cup of the shrimp to a food processor and pulse to blend slightly. Add the egg and cilantro and blend until smooth. Transfer to a mixing bowl and set aside. Roughly chop the remaining shrimp into small pieces and add them to the bowl along with the salt, cumin, and pepper. Mix just to blend and set aside.

Coat a large skillet with olive oil and heat over medium-high heat. Once very hot, use a 1/2 cup measuring cup to create four burger patties. Cook about 2-3 minutes per side, until they are golden brown on the outside and cooked through.

Once cooked, prepare your burger with the toppings of your choice. Enjoy!

Pro Tip: We recommend using this recipe for a delicious cilantro avocado spread as an alternative to sliced avocado. The fries are yummy as a side as well!
